Privacy Policy

Iyari is an offline-first mobile application designed for structured field data capture. This Privacy Policy explains how IYARI handles information when you use the app.

1. Local data storage

Iyari stores your data locally on your device. The app does not automatically upload, synchronize, transmit, sell, or share your field data with our servers.

The following information may be created, processed, or stored locally on your device when you use IYARI:

• Field records created by you.
• Geographic coordinates captured by the device.
• Photos attached to records.
• Forms, fields, labels, validation rules, and templates.
• Imported maps or files, including GeoPDF files.
• Exported files such as Excel, GeoJSON, KML or KMZ files.
• App settings and preferences.

This information remains on your device unless you choose to export, share, copy, back up, or transfer it outside the app.

2. No cloud synchronization

Iyari does not currently provide cloud storage, cloud backup, account-based synchronization, or server-based data recovery.

Because your data is stored locally, we cannot access, recover, delete, or modify your field data if it only exists on your device.

You are responsible for exporting and backing up important data.

3. Location data

Iyari uses location data to create georeferenced field records and display collected points on maps.

Location data is used only for app functionality and is stored locally as part of the records you create. IYARI does not automatically send your location data to Rockswise or to our servers.

4. Photos, camera and files

Iyari may request access to your camera, photo library, or device files so you can attach photos, import maps, or export field data.

Photos and files selected or created by you remain stored locally on your device unless you decide to export or share them.

5. Exporting and sharing data

Iyari allows you to export your data into external files. Once you export, send, upload, or share those files through email, cloud storage, messaging apps, or other third-party services, the handling of that data depends on the service you choose to use.

You are responsible for deciding where and how to share exported files.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Iyari may offer paid features or subscriptions through Google Play or the Apple App Store.

Payments are processed by the relevant app store provider. IYARI does not directly collect or store your payment card details.

7. Third-party services

The current version of Iyari does not use cloud synchronization or server-based storage for your field data.

If future versions include analytics, crash reporting, user accounts, cloud backup, synchronization, or server-based services, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what data is collected, why it is collected, and how it is used.

8. Data deletion

Because Iyari stores data locally, you can delete your records, forms, maps, photos, and app data from within the app or through your device settings.

If you uninstall the app or clear its storage, your local data may be permanently deleted unless you previously exported or backed it up.

9. Security

Iyari is designed to help users manage field data locally. However, your data security also depends on your device security, backups, passwords, operating system, and the third-party services you use to share exported files.

You are responsible for protecting your device and exported data.

10. Children

Iyari is intended for professional, technical, educational, and field data collection purposes. It is not designed for children.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If important changes are made, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide notice through the app or website.
